Soliciting Contributions to Special Issues in Journal Advances in Polar Science: “Climate and Environment Change in Polar Regions”

A Special Issues entitled “Climate and Environment Change in Polar Regions” was proposed to be published in September of 2017 in Advances in Polar Science (http://www.aps-polar.org) and we would like to invite you to submit a manuscript for consideration for this Special Issue, which is outlined below.

Special Issue on “Climate and Environment Change in Polar Regions”
The International Symposium on Polar Environmental Change and Public Governance was held from Oct. 21 to Oct. 22, 2016 in Wuhan, China, sponsored by Wuhan University and Beijing Normal University. The symposium focused on the latest result and development in theory, technology and application of polar environmental change and public governance, promoting the participants to exchange their innovative thoughts. Polar scientists and engineers from Canada, China, Denmark, Norway, New Zealand, and USA attended this meeting. Advances in Polar Science would like to publish free of charge this special issue in September 2017, to summarize the recent advances on this important topic. The research themes fit within the scope of this special issue are: 
(1) Polar surveying, mapping and remote sensing;
(2) Polar sea ice;
(3) Polar ice sheet mass balance;
(4) Climate and environment change in the polar regions.
We welcome relevant contribution on this topic. Submitted manuscripts, except for review papers, should be complete and adequately supported by original investigation; they should not be versions of communications submitted or published elsewhere. All manuscripts will undergo regular review by members of the Editorial Board and other appropriate experts.
The schedule for this special issue is:
• Paper submission deadline: 30 March 2017
• Final acceptance deadline: 30 June 2017
• Publication: September 2017  
We would appreciate if you could let us know (please email me at journal@pric.org.cn) before 30 December 2016 whether you would like to submit a manuscript for this special issue. Please also provide the names of co-authors and a tentative title for the paper.
